Help us fix up our play yard

We need your help!

Sunday, Sept. 10, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Energy Capital Cooperative Child Care in Hazen.

The swing sets in our play yard need a base of gravel beneath them. We need volunteers to help build the frames and move gravel.

We’ll have the gravel and framing materials; please bring a shovel and work gloves. Parent Jon Dronen and board members Dale Johnson and Brad Zimmerman are coordinating the work.

We appreciate all the support we’ve received from the community of Hazen!

Open house Aug. 8

Exciting news!

The entire community is invited to our open house Tuesday, Aug. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. CT at our New Bethel Center in Hazen, ND.

We’ll have food and games, and an USBorne Books fundraiser by Tara Bachmeier. Take a tour. Visit with staff and board directors. Learn how the community helped build the new child care center.
